Did you bring rolls and passports?
- Yes
We didn’t forget anything than.
Hi.
Do you remember us?
We are driving again. Just this year we are much more prepared.
We have been training for 0 days instead of 1 day like in 2016.
Because our tent, which we bought in Jyisk for 2400 dinars was leaking back then, we bought the same on discount this year, for 1200.
We brought 22 rolls instead of 30 wafers.
We were on our way to Morocco without visas, it was like: we will arrange that by the way.
If all of that isn’t enough to convince you that we this much ready and strong – worth of your attention on this September, then let first few days to do it. ☺
Day 1.
Last night, on Novi Sad’s bus station, played real drama in two acts. Protagonist of the first act, hereinafter W, women’s bicycle of medium size refuses to fit in our dear Luki’s bus trunk, with equal determination with which both of us refuse to question his wholeness and territorial integrity in that trunk.
He gives in.
Second act, same plot, just this time two bus drivers, two dads and two bicycle riders tries to rumple big men’s bicycle in order to fill the rest of free space of one sixth of the trunk. We agreed with secession of the handlebars.
He gives in.
Half an hour later, we are lying in the row next to the back of the bus, we are eating rolls, drinking water and planning our tactics for the next days. The dream overpowered us just after saying the word “tactics”. We woke up in Vicenza, the last stop from our road trip from 2016. We travel briefly to Verona. Then by train to Genoa with stopover at Milano. In Genoa we ride our bikes to camp in city periphery.
We missed some trains and some turns, but we didn’t miss the rain and the most beautifully arranged camp we have ever seen.
We are laying in our tent, eating grapes and sleep. Tomorrow we will go by shore towards the France, as far as we get. ☺
Good night.
